It’s that time again. If you’re here, chances are your license renewal is coming up soon, which means you must satisfy your continuing education (CE) requirements to ensure compliance with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE) rules. 18 hours of mandatory CE are required biennially by February 28th of odd years and out of 18 hours needed:

1 hour must be related to professional ethics

1 hour must be related to Florida Laws & Rules

4 hours minimum related to the licensee's area of practice

The remaining hours must be in topics related to the practice of engineering

 

Moreover, the Ethics and Laws & Rules courses must be pre-approved by the FBPE.
